HISTORIC PHOTOGRAPHS
The Clinton Historical Society maintains a large archive of historic images of the Town of Clinton and nearby areas. This collection consists of original individual photos, photo albums, postcards, and glass plate negatives —as well as a large number of images reproduced from vintage postcards and photographs owned by our members and others, many of which have been used in past exhibits. The collection that appears here is a sample taken from this archive.
Another archive of historic images maintained by the Society focuses on Dutchess County railroads from the 1890s through the 1940s. This collection highlights train stations, locomotives, passenger cars, rail workers, and passengers.
Both archives are available for viewing by emailing info@clintonhistoricalsociety.org.
