COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

The Clinton Historical Society Community Service Award recognizes individuals in the Town of Clinton who have given long-term volunteer service to the mid-Hudson region. Recipients are recognized for at least twenty-five years service to a single organization, or fifteen years of service to more than one organization. To nominate an individual, please email info@clintonhistoricalsociety.org.

Jack Cleary
For more than 30 years of dedicated service to the Town of Clinton in government and community organizations.

2002
Dorothy Burkowske
For 45 years of service to the Upton Lake Grange.

Hans Hanaburgh
For 48 years of service to the West Clinton Fire Department.

2010
Dick Coller
For 17 years of dedicated service to Walkway Over the Hudson, significantly aiding the successful conversion of the 1888 railroad bridge to a public walkway park. Plus more than 15 years of service to the Clinton Historical Society, including maintenance and preservation of the Creek Meeting House.

2017
Donald Estes
For more than 25 years of exceptional community service including maintenance of the grounds of the Creek Meeting House and volunteering at the East Clinton Fire Department.
